Here is what is important in life…

Dear Friends: I lost a friend that I met in 2008 when I attended Halftime Institute in Dallas Texas. He was the first person I met at the training and I shall never forget him. He lost his battle to last week. I encourage you to watch and learn, love and cry. You are in my thoughts and prayers Greg and I will see you someday in Heaven. RIP Greg.

In The End Everything Will Be All Right!

I am not much of a movie goer, but I can’t help myself when crossing the Atlantic and having 8 plus hours to pass the time away. Yesterday I returned home from a wonderful reunion of former colleagues. We get together once per year in a different country and celebrate our friendship and our lives together. With all the recent threats in London and around the world, of course, plenty of my friends warn me not to go! And sometimes, I of course, get anxious as well. But, always upon my return, I am thankful that I attended and feel the gratitude for such great friends and memories. On the return flight I watched 3 movies and my favorite was a movie named: “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”. It was a great movie that I watched twice and it left me profoundly happy and was filled with wisdom how to live our lives and how to overcome anything! The movie was truly inspirational and marvelous how the writer captured the essence of life. I was inspired by this line in the movie from the owner of the hotel and he said that in India, they have a favorite expression: “In the end everything will be all right….So if its not all right, it must not be the end.”

I highly recommend this wonderful film with a great cast like Maggie Smith and Judi Dench. Its a great lesson for all ages and I will leave it to you to go see the movie!

How to Develop a Winning Perspective in Life

Life can be very difficult at times. Sometimes difficulties can last for a days, months and even years. So, how do we get through those difficult times? How do we hold on when the storms of life want to take us down? The answer is PERSPECTIVE! The most important thing in life is to develop a proper and winning perspective in life and to let go of old habits and paradigms! It is important to have and hold a vision for your life that has meaning and purpose regardless of your current situation. This is achieved when you begin to develop an ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE. Life isn’t just what you see happening day to day. If you dwell on just the day to day aspects of life, difficulties and challenges can be overwhelming. When you begin to develop an ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE things begin to change. For those of us who are Christians, we know exactly where we are going and that perspective will give us the winning perspective to get through the difficult times in life!
